Why Music Producers Should Never Give Up…

I was just finishing primary school and started attending high school. I remember all I wanted to do when coming home from school was to watch Stargate, play video games, and make music! I wanted to make music like I heard on the radio so I worked my ass off to make it happen.

So how did I get from this super shy kid to a worldwide traveling DJ and Armada Music exclusive artist? It actually took me nine years to release my first track. And then another three to release my first and last vinyl.

I was just finishing primary school and started attending high school. I remember all I wanted to do when coming home from school was to watch Stargate, play video games, and make music! I wanted to make music like I heard on the radio so I worked my ass off to make it happen.

Every time I made a new track ( I can still remember hearing my mom screaming from the other room, “Turn it down!”.) I would have my friends listen and every time they would  “Oh my God, what is this? Is this some techno music? You should do hip-hop because that’s big”.

Every time this happened I felt miserable. I wanted to make music, I wanted people to like it and I wanted them to have a chance to listen to it. So I just kept working despite all my friends and schoolmates teasing me.

Even to this day, when I run into old acquaintances they always ask the same question: “Are you still doing that thing with music?”. I don’t know why, but it feels like people don’t believe it’s possible to make a living doing what you love. Maybe one day I will mention this in a book that I’m writing for you guys. Don’t worry it’s a short one.🤣

Despite all this, I kept working hard and I never gave up.

I know this might sound cliché, but I believe with a tiny bit of talent and hard work, dreams do come true.

Love you guys, have a good one.

Transitioning from Trance to Melodic House: Why You Should Explore New Genres

If you’re like me, you’ve probably spent years making Trance music. After awhile, it can get old.
