Diva, the plugin you need and you don’t realise it!

When you hear Diva by U-he the first thing that comes to mind is most likely melodic techno or melodic house. While diva I widely used in these genres for its top notch analog emulation it is not entirely useless when it comes to trance music or other genres too. Especially when you are looking for those classic pad, lead or bass sounds you hear in tracks by Gouryella, 4 Strings, Ferry Corsten, Rank 1, Armin van Buuren and many other artists.

What actually is U-he Diva for? How can you use this Dinosaur Impersonating Virtual Analogue synthesizer in Trance music?

JP8000 or JP8080 Multisaw/Supersaw Emulation

Diva actually emulates the original JP8000 or JP8080 (the one without a keyboard) with its Digital Oscillator. It has the multisaw/supersaw mode and my increasing Multi to the full you get the desired effect. Multisaw, which is great for rich pads is the go to when making that classic trance bus pad sound. It is really that easy. Setup it up as follow and the classic JP8000 trance pad is at your disposal!

Now, let’s make some amazing Trance Presets using Diva

Any of these presets can be modified to your liking and taste. This way you can sound Original and stand out from the crowd of musicians that only use already made presets in their productions.

Diva is super powerful lead and it can be used for so much more than just Melodic Techno or Melodic House. Its lush Multisaw Digital Oscillators gives you super powered tools to make great presets in seconds. Without the pain of looking for the right sound you can familiarise yourself with DIva by simply turning knobs here and there, up and down until you create something new and fresh for your tracks.

We made something special for you

If you do need presets tho I created a special Diva presets pack for Trance, Progressive, Melodic House and Techno with fine-tuned presets for all your needs. Check it out in our store and listen to the demos bellow if it is something you might like and play around with.
